Syria’s Parliament approved on Wednesday a draft law on the state budget for the fiscal year of 2017.
Last month, the Cabinet set the preliminary sum of the state budget at 2,660 billion Syrian pounds ($12.5 billion), which is distributed as 1,982 billion pounds for running expenditures and 678 billion pounds for investment expenditures, with sums dedicated to social support set at 423 billion pounds.
