A statement by Building the Syrian State Current issued on 21/10/2012 demanded that both the Syrian authority an the |Syrian free Army to respond to Librahimi’s initiative which calls for all parties for a truce during the Eid.
The statement said that inspire of the fact that there are many fighting parties on the ground, Building the Syrian State Current asks the Syrian authorities on the one hand and the Syrian Free army on the other hand to abide by the truce, “in order to prove that they respect the Syrian people and its religious rituals.”
The statement added that the Current condemns the explosion that took place in the Christian neighborhood of Bab Touma, adding that this explosion is “a sever shift in the terrorist attacks which are mushrooming across the country.”
The statement added that a truce announced by the regime and the SFA will “isolate the terrorist groups.”

Remark:
The Observer: Building the Syrian State Current is trying to separate between the SFA and the other armed groups that is believed to be affiliated by al Qaeda. It is the first attempt of a political group to differentiate between the two groups.
