Ahrar ash-Sham Raids Sham Front HQ

Groups of the Ahrar ash-Sham Movement have raided the headquarters of the so-called "Sham Front" at dawn today. The Front consists of brigades formerly associated with the "al-Faruq Brigades" in the far northwestern countryside of Hama.

The raid came following charges accusing Sham Front of providing shelter and protection to ISIS fighters. The successful operation, involving clashes between the two sides at 5 am, lasted only half an hour.

According to sources, Ahrar ash-Sham Movement recently detained Said Nasrallah, a leader of the Sham Front, in addition to dozens of other fighters. "Many others were also wounded", the source said.
