The Friendship Committee Between Venezuela and Syria at the People’s Assembly discussed on Tuesday with Jose Gregorio Piomorji Musatis, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela’s Ambassador in Damascus, to enhance and develop relations in different domains in the interests of the two friendly peoples, especially in the field of reconstruction after the war.
Chairman and members of the committee pointed out the importance of the deeply-rooted Syrian-Venezuelan relations and the need to intensify parliamentary visits and exchange experiences between the two countries, calling for the opening of joint cultural centers and the revitalization of scientific exchange via student scholarships and the formation of a council of businessmen in both countries.

For his part, the Ambassador of Venezuela stressed the importance of increasing cooperation with Syria and intensifying joint activities and events to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two peoples, expressing his country’s readiness to contribute to the reconstruction process in Syria.
