Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov slammed Washington’s continuation to impose more unilateral coercive measures on Syria in an attempt to block the efforts exerted by its legitimate government to restore stability to the country.
In a statement quoted by Sputnik Agency on the new measures imposed against Syria, Ryabkov said that they, “reflect the previous approach, which indicate that the Americans are not satisfied with the legitimate government being able to succeed in achieving stability and restoring normal life to the country and re-establishing control over their lands, in accordance with their goal of preserving territorial integrity.”
