On Thursday, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by US helicopters, committed a massacre, killing six civilians in the town of Shahil, in the northeastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
Local sources said that the SDF besieged the neighborhood of al-Katef in Shahil for more than two hours, before storming the neighborhood with heavy and random shooting, claiming the lives of six civilians, injuring others and arresting a number of the locals.
