The former president of Syrian National Council Mr. Burhan Ghalioun said that the blind bet on the security solution and dedicating the entire Syrian army to eliminate Syrian people's revolution enforced the regime to enter a dark tunnel and encouraged Israel to start the aggression and break the international law.
Throughout this operation, Israel wants to create a new policy dependent on the current situation to dismantle our country from its strategic defenses and weapons, and to draw a base on which it can have a constant interference in Syrian internal affairs.
Ghalioun added on his personal page on Facebook that this happens while the regime's mercenaries continue to commit terrorist massacres in the coastal towns and cities in order to avenge and terrify the inhabitants in an act of sectarian purge.
He considered this an occasion for Syrian people to regain their unity facing the aggression, appealing all misled Syrians, either military or civiliansupporting the regime, to cease fire and stop killing their brothers and to enjoy their people and defend them facing both the internal and external aggressions.
The professor in Sorbonne university concludes that the regime will never succeed, whatever he does, in breaking the will of the people who recorded the greatest feasts of heroism and sacrifice, and that its continuity in the policy of murder and destruction and its attempts to entice external interferences will not save it from its inevitable destiny.
