The Syrian government is mobilizing all national resources for a comprehensive reconstruction and development process after the crisis ends, Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi said Monday.
Halqi was meeting with the Resident Coordinator of U.N. activities in Syria, Adam Abdel Mawla to discuss Syria's cooperation with international organizations in various humanitarian and development fields as well as ways to expand it.
Halqi said the government is also working to improve Syria's performance according to the millenium development goal indicators.
Mawla said he appreciated the Syrian government's efforts to facilitate the delivery of aid to Syrians and said the U.N.'s work in Syria is restricted to the delivery of humanitarian aid.
