State Minister for National Reconciliation Affairs Ali Haidar said on Monday that "armed terrorist groups are responsible for the appalling humanitarian conditions; they are blocking roads and preventing supplies from reaching besieged areas."
Haidar stressed that the government doesn't impose any conditions on those who provide aid; rather it facilitates their work and compliments it. As a case in point, he noted that MagneBarth, head of theInternational Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission in Damascus,is committed to providing humanitarian aid to affected people in all areas.
His remarks came after holding a meeting with Barth in Damascus.
