A unit of the Syrian armed forces have seized control of the region stretching between Abdullah Bin Abbas Mosque and the Houkan bakery in the al-Baajeen neighborhood in Deir El-Zor city after killing many terrorists, an official source told SANA.
The source noted that large numbers of explosive devices planted by the terrorists in the neighborhood were also dismantled in the operation.
Members of an armed terrorist group were killed in the al-Sinaa neighborhood, including one named Saeed Awwad al-Mdahi.
Other terrorists were killed and rocket launch pads as well as locally-made rockets were destroyed in the villages of al-Abed and al-Buleil in Mohassan city.
