Two civilians were martyred and others were injured when terrorists fired mortar shells arbitrarily, targeting innocent civilians in Damascus on Monday.
A police source said the shells fell on al-Mawasem Square in the Qassa neighborhood and near a car wash in the Zabadani neighborhood.
Terrorist mortar attacks continue to claim more innocent lives in Damascus, with a number of mortar shells hitting neighborhoods from early morning to coincide with people's travel to school and work.
