Saaddeddine: Regime Moves Forces to the Coast

The spokesman of the Supreme Military Council of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) said on Tuesday that the Syrian regime has begun to evacuate  fronts fighting against the opposition to fronts on the coast in the west of the country, its primary stronghold and the center of his sectarian power.

In a statement to Anatolia News Agency, the member of the Supreme Military Council and its spokesman, Colonel Qassim Saadeddine said that the Syrian regime withdrew parts of his forces in recent days and moved them towards the coast, where the opposition fighters launched a campaign against regime strongholds nearly two weeks ago.

He explained that the regime withdrew troops from the Eastern Front to the provinces of Deir El-Zor and Hassakeh, as well as the northern provinces of Aleppo and Edlib near Latakia, and the same applies to the southern front, which includes the provinces of Damascus and its countryside, and Daraa.
