2,500 Airstrikes Since October 20

The number of air raids carried out by the military and army helicopters has risen dramatically in several villages, towns and cities in Syria to reach 2,429 since October 20, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

 

The Observatory revealed that regime planes carried out at least 1,304 raids, targeting several areas in the provinces of Deir-ez-Zor, Homs, Damascus, Lattakia, Quineitra, Hama, Aleppo, Idleb, Daraa, and Hassakeh.


Helicopters dropped 1,125 explosive barrels in several areas in the provinces of Homs, Hama, Idleb, Daraa, Hassakeh, Aleppo, Quneitra, Lattakia and Damascus countryside.

 

The Observatory also documented the deaths of 603 civilians, including 129 children under the age of 18, 112 civilians over the age of 18, and 362 men, as a result of the bombardment by helicopters and planes. Another 2,400 people were injured and the raids resulted in considerable material damage and destruction of property.
