President Bashar al-Assad has issued legislative decree No. 7 for 2015, granting SYP 4,000 living compensation on monthly salaries for all state employees.
The increase is exempt from any deductions, as it will be added to the monthly salaries of all civilian and military employees, together with retirees and annual contractors.
The decree will be put into force next February.
