Drone sighted and shot down by Syrian air defense over hometown of President Bashar al-Assad

Syrian air defense systems shot down a hostile unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the northern province of Lattakia on Tuesday.

Syrian state-run TV said authorities are investigating which group the drone is affiliated to.
