A family from the province of Hassakeh was killed in a road accident in the Turkish city of Urfa on their way to Istanbul on Monday night. The wounded were moved to Turkish hospitals for treatment, with most in serious conditions, while 11 members of the family died, including women and children.
Siraj, a media activist from the countryside of Hassakeh, told All4Syria that the Alhegel family hailed from the al-Jabour tribe.
The deceased family members are: Iqbal, Batool, Khaled, Fayez, Ghufran, Media, Amal, Rahaf, Sabreen, Khatun and Radwan Alhegel.
