Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi said on Sunday the recent increase in terrorist attacks targeting civilians reflects their perpetrators’ state of confusion following their defeat in battles with the Syrian army.
In a phone call with Syrian TV, Zoubi expressed his confidence in the ability of the Syrian people to defeat terrorism and its state backers, mainly Saudi Arabia and Turkey, commending in particular the people of Aleppo for their resilience against the terrorist crimes.
He said the general political scene has become very clear, stressing that the Syrian leadership will never relinquish one inch of the Syrian soil no matter how long the crisis lasts.
