Eight people were killed and 47 others were injured when the residential neighborhoods of Aleppo were targeted in a terrorist rocket attack, SANA’s reporter said on Monday.
The civilians, mostly women and children, were killed when terrorists fired scores of rocket shells at the neighborhoods of Al-Izaa, Bab al-Faraj, Maisaloun, Al-Mashatiya, Saif al-Dawla, Maadi, Marjeh, and Maghayer in Aleppo city, according to the reporter.
The reporter added that the attack also caused significant material damage to houses in the neighborhood, which was secured in recent days by the Syrian army.
