Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) committed violations against the locals of Sirrin in the countryside of Aleppo after Kurdish and Free Syrian Army (FSA) forces seized the town, media activist Abdul Razzaq Nabhan told al-Souria.
"The most significant of these violations was the arrest of more than 150 civilians, in addition to the gathering women, children and men inside a school in the city of Sirrin and packing large numbers of them in small classrooms", Nabhan added.
The activist noted that the intense heat and lack of water led to the death of a 7-month-old boy and 6-year-old girl.
"The Kurdish units also entered the commercial center in Sirrin and looted it", said Nabhan.
The units seized the town’s "luxury" buildings and houses, expelling its inhabitants under the pretext of supporting ISIS, he added.
Nabhan stressed that people protested to the FSA, which entered the town alongside the Kurdish units, but the commanders were unable to do anything because their numbers were smaller than the Kurdish forces.
Nabhan said: "If there was a strong Free Syria Army, Kurdish forces would not have dared to commit such abuse against Arab civilians in Sirrin".
