Syria, Russia Affirm That US Gives UN Aid To Terrorists

The Syrian and Russian Coordination Commissions have affirmed that the US exploits the deteriorating humanitarian condition in the al-Rukban camp in Syria to confiscate UN humanitarian aid and give it to terrorists.

According to a joint statement released by the two commissions on Monday, the US hopes to get UN humanitarian aid to support terrorist groups present in the vicinity of the al-Rukban camp, a region that has turned into a hotbed for training terrorists.

The statement added that the US hinders all exerted efforts to close the camp, release the hostages held in it, and return them to their houses in liberated areas.

“The Syrian state is ready to receive all the Syrian citizens who are held by the US and its mercenaries in al-Rukban camp, and to guarantee their safety,” the statement asserted.

Thousands of displaced Syrians are held as hostages in the al-Rukban camp, which is experiencing a severe shortage of food, healthcare, and water.

The US and their mercenaries [terrorist groups] prevent the displaced people from leaving the camp through the humanitarian corridors that have been opened by the Syrian and Russian sides since last year.
