This came during a meeting held between the Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform in Syria, Eng Mohammad Hassan Qatana, and the Agriculture Minister of Palestine, Riyad al-Attari in Damascus on Thursday.

Qatana reviewed, during the meeting, the reality of the agricultural sector in Syria and the losses it has incurred due to the terrorist war against it, asserting the joint cooperation in the domains of agriculture and livestock, in addition to benefiting from the experiences of neighboring countries in the research and studies domains.

For his part, Attari pointed out the difficulties that the agricultural sector has suffered from in Palestine is due to the policies of the Israeli occupation and its aggression against Palestinian land.
