A conference has been held in the Turkish city of Antalya to unite the forces of the armed revolution.
More than 550 people attended the meeting, including the leaders of the military and revolutionary councils, brigades and battalions.
261 members were selected to represent the leadership of the new Revolutionary Forces Committee.
30 people both officers and civilians were then elected (six people from each front of the five fronts) to form the Supreme Military Command Council assisting the Chief of Staff.
The Supreme Military Command Council is considered the highest military authority in the new Syrian Arab Republic and the head of the Supreme Military Command Council is also considered the defense minister .
The Council will nominate five names for the position of Secretary of Defense, and five names for the position of Minister of the Interior. The Prime Minister will appoint them.
The distribution of weapons and funds to the five fronts will be executed under the Prime Minister's supervision. He will also assign staff to prepare plans for military operations and supervises their implementation.
