Syria continues to fight terrorism on behalf of the entire world and it is combating bravely armed terrorist organizations that come from more than 80 countries, according to Assistant Regional Secretary General of Syria’s Baath Party Hilal al-Hilal.
During a meeting with members of the visiting Australian delegation on Thursday, Hilal noted that Syria had consistently warned terrorist organizations, supported by the west, will turn against them, in reference to recent attacks in France and Tunisia.
Hilal stressed the importance of the delegation’s visit, as it allows them to see the reality of events and suffering of the Syrian people.
The delegation, which includes sports and media figures, in addition to Australian activists, will remain in Syria until July 23.
