The Foreign Ministry has declared allegations of the arbitrary use of force by Syria and Russia in their efforts to combat terrorism are baseless.
In a statement on Monday, the ministry stressed that the Syrian army would never use arbitrary force within its continued efforts to combat terrorism and restore stability and security to the country.
Syria’s government also called on countries supporting terrorism to adhere to UN Security Council counter-terrorism resolutions regarding the arbitrary use of force against Syria’s civilian population.
