Five militants from the Afghan Fatimioun militia, which is loyal to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, were killed during clashes in Syria.
This news was published by the Iranian Sacred Defense news agency on Wednesday, without giving the name of the militia in which the members were fighting.
According to the agency, the dead were Sayid Akbar Husseini, Mohamad Eissa Ahmadi, Murtada Karim, Salim Safrezedeh and Mohamad Ghulam Muhseini. They were buried later in various Iranian cities.

According to unofficial numbers, the number of Iranian fighters killed in the ongoing clashes in Syria is about 2,400.
