The Syrian committee responsible for the so-called 'national dialogue' met with Secretary of Iranian Higher National Security Council, Saed Jalili and other Iranian officials during a visit to Tehran on Wednesday.
The committee includes some regime supporters and other figures from the fake opposition, formed by the regime to negotiate with at the Geneva conference, if it is ever held.
The committee includes the leader of the Communist Party Fateh Jamous, Secretary General of Syrian National Youth Party, Maher Mirhej, the representative of the Baath Party in Damascus, Faisal Azzouz, in addition to some members from People's Change Front, led by Deputy Prime Minister, Qadri Jamil.
The committee was formed during a meeting of the dialogue conference held last month in Damascus and attended by 700 regime supporters.
