Phosphorus Falls on Idleb and Clashes Accompanied by Heavy Air Raids in Lattakia Countryside

On Monday morning, a number of civilians were killed in airstrikes carried out by regime warplanes on a number of towns in the Idleb countryside, while the Lattakia countryside saw heavy raids by Russian and regime warplanes, coinciding with clashes on the ground.

The Kabina village front in the northern Lattakia countryside is witnessing heavy clashes, whereby regime forces are carrying out heavy bombardments with artillery and rockets, accompanied by continuous air raids on the town carried out by Russian fighters and regime planes.

The land and aerial bombardment comes after regime militias took heavy losses during an attempt on Sunday/Monday night to advance on the Salef al-Zakar front.

In the southern Idleb countryside, air raids occurred on the villages of Sheikh Mustafa, Tramla, Arinba, Maarat Hermeh, and Hesh, killing one civilian in Hesh and wounding others.

Fires broke out in other villages after rockets containing phosphorus fell on the towns of Badama, al-Najiyeh and Marand west of Idleb, as well as on the outskirts of Umm al-Seer and Tramla in Jabal Shashbou in the southern Idleb countryside.

The al-Nusra Front’s Abaa news agency said that heavy clashes broke out against regime forces on the al-Qasabiyeh front in the southern Idleb countryside.
