On Sunday, Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem received United Nations Special Envoy to Syria, Geir Pedersen, and his accompanying delegation.
Muallem and Pedersen reviewed the ongoing efforts to achieve progress in the political track for solving the crisis in Syria and completing the consultations related to the political process, including the committee to discuss the constitution.
Minister Muallem also listened to a presentation by the Special Envoy on the activities he has undertaken since his visit to Damascus last month.
