Information Minister, Omran al-Zoubi said ensuring Egypt's security, safety and unity are a national duty for Syria and said the crisis can be overcome if Mohammad Mursi acknowledges that the overwhelming majority of the Egyptian people want him to go.
Responding to questions on Wednesday, Zoubi said that the Egyptian people "have long come of age politically," stressing that the nation has to side with the Egyptian people against Muslim Brotherhood terrorism.Speaking about what the developments meant for Hamas, Zoubi said:
"Hamas is faced with a choice: It is either a resistance movement or a Muslim Brotherhood organization…It cannot be both."
"The Muslim Brothers are U.S. tools, while the resistance is leading the fight against Israel and U.S. hegemony."
He said Hamas should dissociate itself from Mursi's regime and warned not to repeat its outrageous stance in Syria by siding with terrorists.
