Observers of the Syrian crisis have circulated news recently regarding the arrival of Hezbollah and Iranian fighters at the mountain areas around Latakia in order to train some fighters on how to manage the coastal regions.
The news comes on the background of expectations related to a geographic, political and military divides as a gateway to a temporary and lasting settlement.
The leadership of these areas faces internal problems raised by the conflict between the Alawite tribes which have so far been united by their fear, though the majority of Alawites still refuses what is happening under their name and worry about the price they will pay for a long time.
