The Commander of Douma Martyrs' Brigade in Eastern Ghouta escaped an assassination attempt last Sunday, a rebel source has revealed.
The source said that Ahmed Taha escaped death after an unknown armed group tired to shoot him along with his comrades.
There have been at least four assassination attempts conducted against commanders of Douma Martyrs Brigade, the source revealed.
The city of Douma is the hometown of Islam Army's commander Zahran Alloush and its is a major stronghold for rebels in the Eastern Ghouta.
