Syrian officials met with representatives from Iran and Switzerland on Tuesday to discuss coordinating the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Syrian people.
The delegates, who included Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad, tackled a range of issues of concern and reviewed practical procedures to secure the necessary humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people.
Tehran is expected to issue a statement on the outcomes of the meeting, which was held in the Iranian capital and attended by Syria’s Ambassador to Iran, Adnan Mahmoud.
