At least 18 Syrians were killed in the suicide attack on the Burj el-Barajneh neighborhood in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, sources have revealed.
The sources indicated that among the victims were four civilians from Idleb province – two from Maarrat an-Numan, one from Hafsarja, and one other from Natef. The victims’ bodies were transferred to their hometowns in the countryside of Idleb via a private transport company operating between Syria and Lebanon.
The attack, which was carried out by a number of suicide bombers, targeted the southern suburb of Beirut, killing at least 40 people. Lebanese and international media organizations have neglected to acknowledge Syrian casualties in the bombing.
