Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met on Wednesday with Syrian Ambassador Riyad Haddad to discuss the military, political and humanitarian situation in Syria.
In a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry, Bogdanov affirmed his country’s support for the Syrian government in eliminating terrorism in Syria and stressed the necessity for political efforts to reach a peace deal.
