Syrian government representatives arrived in the Kazakh capital of Astana on Sunday ahead of the seventh round of peace talks on Syria which will take place Oct. 30-31.
Earlier, Kazakh Foreign Ministry spokesperson Anwar Jainakov said that participants for the talks would begin arriving on Sunday evening for two days of meetings.
The Kazakh capital has so far hosted six rounds of talks on the crisis in Syria. All meetings have stressed commitment to Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial unity, in addition to broadening the cease-fire deal and the establishment of the de-escalation zones.
