Security services are investigating how these documents are being printed and sold under the eyes of the regime.
Rumours have circulated about the arrest of people possessing more than one personal identity card, and those that are using those cards to exit the country following attacks on various provinces and because of the continuous restrictions on activists and especially journalists.
Some residents told All4Syria that prices per identity card range between 30,000 and 50,000 SP.
