The Syrian National Coalition condemned the targeting the city of Kassab with artillery shells, which damaged an Armenian Church in the center of the city, hours after rebel took control of it.
The Secretary General of the Coalition, Badr Jamous, said regime forces must take full responsibility for the targeting of places of worship, not only in Kassab, but in all of Syria, which he said "comes in the context of a systematic policy of targeting civilians and holy sites in retaliation of the victories of the rebels on the ground".
