Army Chief of Staff Ali Abdullah Ayoub visited Syrian army units and Lebanese resistance fighters along the Qalamoun area in the countryside of Damascus on Wednesday.
Field commanders and Lebanese national resistance members briefed Major General Ayoub on the combatant operations in pursuing terrorist organizations, eliminating them and establishing control over most important sites and hills in the region.
Ayoub praised the courage and combatant skills exhibited by soldiers of the army and Lebanese resistance in their operations against terrorist organizations, affirming that Syria and the Lebanese resistance will remain as one in confronting the Zionist-US attack.
Soldiers of the army and Lebanese resistance affirmed to the major general their determination to continue together in confronting terrorism.
