Russian, Syrian Air Strikes Target 285 Terrorist Sites

Russian and Syrian air forces carried out 164 sorties, 60 of them at night, targeting 285 terrorist positions in Hama, Idleb, Lattakia countryside, Damascus countryside, Aleppo, and Deir-ez-Zor on Friday and Saturday.

A military source said the operations resulted in the destruction of 24 terrorist command centers, three workshops for manufacturing explosives and rockets, 21 ammunition and fuel depots, and 233 fortified positions, bases, and camps.

In the past 24 hours, 94 terrorist positions were targeted in 59 sorties, resulting in the destruction of eight terrorist command centers, five ammunition depots, three convoys of vehicles loaded with weapons and munitions, six artillery positions, 38 training camps and bases, and 43 fortified sites, the source added.

According to the source, the air strikes aim to cut off terrorists’ supply lines and destroy their weapons and munitions depots, adding that reconnaissance confirmed that terrorists are refusing to carry out their commanders’ orders as morale has deteriorated as a result of the concentrated air strikes and massive losses.
