Homs governorate will develop a future strategic vision to help in upgrading its economic, development and social sectors, Prime Minister Imad Khamis said on Thursday.
During a meeting with economic, religious, partisan and popular figures at the Homs governorate building, Khamis said that the government is serious about developing and improving all sectors.
Khamis called for optimal investment in resources and work to push the production wheel forward and encourage the private sector to invest in facilities and public institutions. He pointed out that the government will work to develop laws and legislation to attract investments and projects to benefit the national economy.
On Wednesday, a governmental delegation headed by Khamis started a four-day visit to Homs to inspect the economic and services situation in the province.
