Syrian regime air forces carried out 46 air raids across Syria on Monday, as armed troops pressed their advance in Aleppo and Idleb, monitoring groups said.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) documented seven deaths by Monday in different Syrian governorates.
Another pro-opposition monitoring group, The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also said regime warplanes had conducted no fewer than 46 airstrikes around Syria since Monday morning.
The strikes hit rebel-held areas of Aleppo, Daraa, Maarat al-Numan, Khan Shekhoun, Kafar Sajna, al-Tamanaa and al-Hebet, Kafar Batna, al-Latamina, Morek and Latmin, Douma, Zabdin and Deir al-Safir.
Meanwhile, regime armed forces have pressed rapid advances in the northern countryside of Aleppo province, seeking to break the siege imposed by Islamic rebels on two Shiite towns, a Zaman al-Wasl reporter said.
Rebel commanders and media activists warned of recent advances by regime forces, saying if the army breaks the siege of Nubul and Zahra, the whole city of Aleppo will be isolated in a similar scenario to Homs.
Forces of President Bashar al-Assad, backed by the Al-Quds brigade, NDF and Hezbollah militias will be able to isolate Aleppo from its countryside if rebels are not able to thwart its advances, activists said.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said clashes continued between Assad forces and Islamic battalions, including the Nusra Front in the Hendarat area.
Regime warplanes carried out raids on towns of Khreitan, Andan and Kafar Hamra, but there were no reports of casualties, the Observatory said.
More than 191,000 people have been killed and over 10 million forced to flee their homes since the outbreak of the uprising in Syria in 2011.
