Syrian regime forces targeted Syrian Arab Red Crescent vehicles on Wednesday while delivering medical aid to their center in the rebel-held city of Douma, north of Damascus.
The attack resulted in the death of Israa al-Habash, the veteran association said in statement. The 19-year-old volunteer was killed by Syrian forces mortar fire targeting the three vehicles carrying parcels of medical and humanitarian aid.
