Erdogan’s Forces Continue Crimes Against Afrin Locals

Turkish forces and their terrorist allies are forcing Afrin locals out of their homes and establishing military posts in the Ras al-Ayn area reports SANA.

Forces of the Turkish occupation and its terrorist mercenaries continue to attack the locals in the Afrin area and its countryside, north of Aleppo, and practice acts of intimidation and blackmail against the locals to displace them in parallel with their hostile practices against the Syrian territories and the establishment of several military posts in Ras al-Ayn. 

SANA’s reporter in Aleppo said that the Turkish regime and its mercenaries are continuing to attack the locals and to tighten the noose on them in Afrin City and its countryside, northwest of Aleppo, to force them to leave their homes and prevent them from returning, with the aim of moving terrorists and their families into their homes after displacing them. 

Sources said that the locals are facing daily acts of kidnapping and arrest, in addition to looting by members of the army of Turkish regime and the terrorist groups that are backed by the Turkish occupation.

Earlier, forces of the Turkish regime confiscated many of the locals’ houses in Afrin and allowed terrorists and their families to stay in them. 

In the framework of their hostile practices and in an attempt to embody their occupation of some areas in the Syrian territories, local sources indicated that the Turkish occupation have established six military points in the countryside of Ras al-Ayn since the beginning of the aggression. 

The sources added that on Monday,  the Turkish occupation forces bulldozed three houses and four shops and warehouses used by farmers in the village of al-Souda in the Ras al-Ayn countryside to establish a military point in their place. 

In Hassakeh, two civilians were injured when a mine planted by Erdogan’s terrorists detonated in al-Rihaniya village in the southern countryside of Ras al-Ayn. They were rushed to Tel Tamir Hospital to receive the required treatment. 

On Sunday, four civilians were martyred when and explosive device planted by the Turkish regime detonated in Um al-Asafir village in northwest of Hassakeh.

Since the beginning of their aggression on the Syrian territories on Oct. 9, 2019, Turkish forces and their mercenaries have committed criminal acts against the locals and have destroyed the infrastructure and service facilities causing the displacement of a large number of civilians towards the cities of Hassakeh and Qamishli.
