Mazloum Abadi: We Want Real Recognition and Official Representation in Geneva

As the constitutional committee gets under way, General Mazloum Abadi has said that the Kurds must be represented and recognised reports Jisr.

The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces said on Twitter that, “We cannot go back [on our rejection] without real recognition and official representation in Geneva and on the constitutional committee.”

General Mazloum Abadi added that: “Our Kurdistani people and all our friends in Europe are doing excellent work. With your efforts, our resistance will prevail and we will repel all the conspiracies that target our existence.”

Delegations began to arrive in Geneva to prepare for the constitutional committee’s work, which will begin discussions on Friday with 150 members from the regime, opposition and civil society, while the Self-Administration has been kept away from the committee’s work.
