A Kurdish Party: fighting serves only the Turkish agenda but harms the Syrian revolution.

The fighting between Kurds and forces of the Syrian Free Army in Ain Arab (Seri Kaneh) has left negative impact on the city, a Kurdish Party said Thursday.

The Kurdish Yekiti (Unity) Party said in a statement a copy of which was obtained by the Syrian Observer that the “fighting serves only the Turkish agenda but harms the Syrian revolution.”

The Party called on all parties to halt hostilities and start a dialogue to solve the crisis in a way that serves the interest of the city and its components.

In the meantime, Arab, Kurdish, and Assyrian intellectuals issued a statement Friday, in which they condemned the fighting and said it serves the interests of the regime.

The statement which was signed by writers, artists, and scholars called for the withdrawal of all the armed forces from the city and for forming a committee that represents all the components of the city to maintain security there.
