Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi affirmed that the government is serious in inviting all political, social powers, including the opposition abroad, coordination bodies and the armed groups which throw weapons, to take part in the political dialogue to come out of the current crisis in Syria.
Chairing the Ministerial Committee tasked with implementing the political program to solve the crisis in Syria, al-Halqi met on Thursday with members of the Executive Bureau of the General Federation of the Trade Unions.
"The workers are the real factor to restore stability, reconstruct the new Syria after overcoming the crisis through their determination to make the upcoming national dialogue conference a success," al-Halqi said.
He briefed members of the bureau on the government's measures to tackle the files of the detainees, the abducted and settling their cases, as well as to take any procedures that could support the political national process.
Chairman of the Trade Unions Mohammad Shaaban Azouz affirmed the Union's support to the government in order to apply the political program, referring to the important procedures the government is taking in this regard.
Members of the Union, for their part, called for accelerating the implementation of the national comprehensive dialogue conference, Combating the Takfiri mentality which encourages violence.
Following the meeting, Azouz said in a statement to journalists that the meeting was very important as it concentrated on the economic dealing and the social extension, calling for combating those who seek the illegitimate enrichment during the crisis.
