Two people were killed and dozens injured by an explosive device and mortar shelling by terrorists in the al-Qassa neighborhood in Damascus Thursday.
Mortar shelling near to the French Hospital killed one person and injured seven, according to a police source. There was also extensive damage to buildings in the area.
The source said terrorists also detonated an explosive device in the Bab Touma neighborhood of the Old City, killing one person and injuring three others.
Another two people were injured in mortar shelling in Jaramana.
Two citizens were injured by mortar shells which were fired by terrorists on houses in the Jaramana neighborhood, south of Damascus.
A local police source in the area told SANA two mortars hit a residential building near the Siyouf Square in Jaramana, also causing material damage.
