Regime Attempts to Appease Families in Jaramana

The governorate of Damascus Countryside has started issuing loans for small investment projects to the families of martyrs, killed as part of their civil work, in Jaramana.

Manager of the local development office for the governorate, Ahmad Kenaan said the loans will improve the living standards of families by allowing them to invest in small productive projects.

He said the amount allocated for the loans is 10 million SP in total, with an average of 130,000 SP for small production loans, and 30,000 SP for students to continue their study.

The loans will be provided initially for a three month period at no interest, as a means to appease the families of regime supporters deceived by the government. Meanwhile the families of the real civil martyrs continue to face all kinds of obstacles in getting access to the loans.
