The delegation included head of the party, Hassan Abdul-Azim and General Secretary Rajaa al-Nasser

A delegation from opposition Syrian National Coordination Committee (NCC) has visited the executive office of the Labor Party in Cairo.

The delegation, which included head of the party, Hassan Abdul-Azim and General Secretary Rajaa al-Nasser, met with members of executive office of the Labor Party, including Riyadh Darrar and Ahmad El-Asrawi.

It also met with Chairman of the Labor Party, Majdi Ahmad Huesein, his deputy, and other members from the party's general command.

Abdul-Azim explained the political role and goals of the NCC in Syria and the two delegations agreed that the solution to the crisis in Syria should be political. They approved the model for a transition to a democratic system that achieves freedom and dignity for people.

They also agreed on stopping violence and condemning external interference in the Syrian crisis, and on the necessity of excluding armed forces from both sides.

Both sides saw the proposed Geneva 2 conference as a chance to settle on a solution to stop the bloodshed and destruction, if a political compromise could be reached.
