Prime Minister Wael Halqi has said dialogue between all social and political components in Syria is the only way to promote a spirit of harmony and soar above injustice.
The premier was speaking during a meeting of the ministerial committee tasked with implementing the political program for solving the crisis in Syria, and members of the General Sports Union's executive office.
He added that the forthcoming national dialogue conference will be held in Syria without any foreign meddling or dictates, and hailed the victories of the Syrian army and the internal security forces in restoring stability and security in Syria.
Halqi emphasized the government's efforts in confronting an economic war being waged on Syria and mitigating the negative impact it has on citizens, through providing basic utility and health services.
He highlighted the importance of the General Sports Union in raising Syria's profile in Arab, regional and Olympic arenas and achieving honorable victories.
